Julia works hard behind the scenes, but what is Julia like? Steph dives in, in this in-person interview while showcasing the Blue Ridge Marathon. The marathon is in its 10th year running, literally. What makes it special? Why should trail runners consider this one? Hope y'all enjoy this special episode!

Season 4 runners Grady and Rebecca know a thing or two about adversity on the trails so who better to interview Heather Ficke, the final female finisher at this years Western State Endurance Run!  Every level of runner will learn something on the show.  Thanks so much for listening!

Jesse Itzler is a serial entrepreneur, ultra runner, and general seeker of adventure.  On the show we talk about adventurous parenting, addiction to newness, and mental toughness.  His background is amazing and diverse and to spare the clickbait(y) descriptions about what this guy has accomplished, I'd recommend you just listen to the show to find out who he really is first, then go google the crap out of him!  Thanks for listening.

Our guest is like many of our listeners, she had no idea what was possible until later in her running life.  Once she got the trail bug, it was over.  She has spent the bulk of her life since running trails and inspiring others to do the same through her writing and actions. Enjoy this conversation about running and trails and life!

Look, Liza has no problem if you are wearing basketball shorts and cotton socks and you pass her.  It's just that, this doesn't usually happen.  A show about trusting a diagnoses and when no, you aren't getting old, you aren't fat, and you aren't out of shape.  Listening to our bodies and when we should, and should not push. There is also a case for finishing even when it isn't pretty.

This show and all others in the series are about helping first time ultra runners and runners in general. Thanks for listening.

He gives tons of advice that is applicable for every level of runner.  He shares what he made racing the last two years, you may be surprised. And, we tease a bit regarding season 4 of Becoming Ultra.  Enjoy the show!
